I meant:

You know, that you can use the menus without the mouse?
I can't remember the default keybopard shortcut, I think it is Cmd+F3, as I have set it to an easier combo on my system.
you can navigate through each menu using the arrow keys.

I use Ctrl+ for the menu, Ctrl+ for the dock. (You can set the keyboard shortcuts in the system preferences)

No need for an additional background task, which may break in future OS versions anyway, if you use the built-in functionality.

John, what exactly isn't working? One minor annoyance with the program is that there is no indication that it is running unless you open your Activity Monitor. In that it shows up as DejaMenu. On my machine (dual 2.7 G5) it uses around 20 meg of real RAM and 375 meg of virtual (seems pretty high!).

If it is running the apple-shift-m combination always seems to work for me ;)

It would be nice if there was some indication it was running.
