Show me the (old) Shockwave plug-in

June 12th, 2006

For those that develop Shockwave content it is often useful to have an older version of the plug-in kicking around for testing purposes. After doing a bit of digging I managed to find these on the Adobe site.

For those interested, you can drop by this technote.

They only go back to version 6…but that is pretty far back!

I went there just recently, they’ve got a couple of other cool Director experiments, one takes a picture of you, and re-moulds you out of chocolate. 🙂

There HAS to be a cool game that could be made using that technology!

Reminds me of Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory! I happen to live over on the other side of the pond, so sounds like Cadbury’s World is well worth a visit for all that cool stuff . . .

Great work and impressive idea to use three computers and Director. Congrats.
