Mactel plug in is so slooooow. I think it's still being emulated in some way. Check this out:

http://www.soffish.com/dir/test.jpg

Left is safari, right is ie running in vmware xp. Both shockwaves are running at the same time on my mac. This is a time based animation....I don't get it. Lame.

From what I understand the Havok Xtra is no longer being updated on Mac (and Windows?), so things that use Havok will need to be updated.

Havok seems to have dropped out of the Macromedia/Adobe world when Dir MX 2004 came out, since the Xtra was no longer included. At that point you had to "borrow" the Xtra from the full installation of Shockwave (where it was still being included). That gave a good indication that Havok was going...going...and now gone.

It will be interesting to see how things go with the new AGEIA PhysX engine (the Dynamiks.xtra I guess as I glance through the Xtras installed).
